Dr. Alejandro Merchán Muñoz Joins OVC’s Department of Clinical Studies

Dr. Alejandro Merchán Muñoz has joined the Ontario Veterinary College’s (OVC) Department of Clinical Studies, at the University of Guelph, as an Assistant Professor in Large Animal Surgery. 

Merchán Muñoz completed his veterinary degree in 2012 at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He subsequently completed a Doctor of Veterinary Science degree (DVSc) from OVC in 2023 and was board certified with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons – Large Animal and Equine in 2022.
