CPHAZ Scientific Symposium on May 23, 2017

On May 23, 2017, the Centre for Public Health and Zoonoses will host it’s 5th Scientific Symposium, in Rozanski Hall at the University of Guelph.  The CPHAZ symposium is a one day event that brings together all pillars and forms of public health and zoonotic disease research from the University of Guelph and beyond. We welcome participants from regional, national and international organizations.

This year CPHAZ will not only be bringing you a myriad of engaging posters, student 2 minutes interactive sessions, 15 minute research presentations, we would also like to invite our audience of academics and non academics to engage further with an opportunity to discuss public health issues on their mind. One session of the CPHAZ symposium will encourage participants to present an issue, discuss implementing a solution or novel way of thinking around the question and engage their peers in an opportunity to collaborate in this unique interactive session.

Awards are available for graduate students presenting posters that take part in giving a two minute synopsis of your research. Two slides, two minutes, can you wow the audience with your research before the cow bell rings?

See the links above for registration and abstract submission. Everyone is welcome, there is no fee for registration. Consider submitting an abstract and telling us about your research or about a public health problem on your mind.

Registration will close 11:59PM on Monday, May 8th.
