Profile

Dr. Pablo Espinosa Mur graduated from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid and completed a rotating internship at the CHUV of the University of Montreal. Following his rotating internship he completed a one year Surgical Internship at Milton Equine Hospital, Ontario. Pablo then went on to complete a surgical residency at UC Davis where he stayed as Clinical faculty for 2 years. At UC Davis he actively participated in PET scan research in equine patients. Following two years of private practice in Germany, Pablo decided to switch to the radiology field and completed a radiology program and Doctorate in Veterinary Science at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph. Pablo is presently an Assistant Professor of Diagnostic Imaging in the Department of Clinical Studies, Ontario Veterinary College.

Research Interests

Dr. Espinosa-Mur’s primary research interest is clinical research focused on ultrasound and particularly advanced ultrasound techniques such as superb microvascular imaging of abdominal organs such as the canine and feline pancreas. Other research interests include the use of NaF PET scan in musculoskeletal disorders.
