Robbie D’Addazio wins the Dr. Robert Clarke Public Health Prize

The Ontario Veterinary College Alumni Association continues to provide funding for the Dr. Robert Clarke Public Health Prize, awarded to the student with the best poster. There were many great posters on display at the 9th Annual MPH Public Health Forum, but there could only be one winner. This year, Robbie D’Addazio was awarded this prize. His poster summarized his project during his time at Cancer Care Ontario during the summer of 2017.

In 2012, the Ontario Veterinary College Alumni Association voted to name the Public Health Prize after Dr. Robert Clarke, former Assistant Deputy Minister, Public Health Agencyof Canada/Deputy Chief Public Health Officer, Canada (retired), who has held senior executive and research positions at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Health Canada, and Agriculture and Agri-food Canada, among other achievements.

We greatly appreciate this significant award and are honoured to have our students as recipients.
