Congratulations to Steven Lam, MPH graduate and current PhD student in Population Medicine (Public Health), for being named the recipient of the Canadian Evaluation Society Education Fund (CESEF) Graduate Scholarship Program.

Steven’s doctoral research at the University of Guelph focuses on the development of evaluation approaches that are both environmentally and socially situated. In the wake of global climate change, he is exploring how evaluation can transform to integrate sustainability and equity issues particularly in the assessment of food security programs.

Academic excellence and research potential as well as career potential in evaluation are the most heavily weighted criteria for the CESEF’s scholarship recipient selection. We are thrilled to see Steven’s hard work recognized and supported!
