The University of Guelph offers many resources to assist with research, including: 

 

Data Resource Centre

The Data Resource Centre at the University of Guelph stores and maintains accessible databases, and provides support in data collection and analysis through one-on-one appointments, in-class instruction, online tutorials, and workshops. It is jointly managed by the Library and Computing and Communications Services, and is located on the first floor of MacLaughlin Library.

 

Office of Research

The Office of Research oversees and supports all of the research that is conducted at the University of Guelph. It works to enhance capacity by providing services and maintaining fruitful partnerships. Research services that may be of particular use to students in the Department of Population Medicine include: 

 
OVC Research Webpage

Research at the OVC seeks to improve the health and wellbeing of animals, humans, and ecosystems through laboratory, epidemiological, and applied clinical methods. Areas of research strength include applied clinical science, food animal health management, infectious disease, public health, and reproductive and development biology.

The Research section of the OVC webpage provides useful information for Faculty, Students, and the Public and Industry, including research related announcements, funding opportunities, fellowships and scholarships, training opportunities, administrative support, etc.

 

University of Guelph Library

The University of Guelph Library offers services, resources, and spaces to support collaborative learning, teaching, research, and knowledge dissemination. The Library is part of the Tri-University Group of Libraries, and is able to access additional resources from the University of Waterloo Library and the Wilfred Laurier University Library.
