Profile

Sebastián was borned in San Jose, Costa Rica. He obtained his DVM degree from the University of La Plata, Argentina in 2015. From 2015 to 2017 he worked as a private practioner in dairy health management in various dairy farms in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2017 he achieved his specialty degree in bovine reproductive physiology at the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. During 2018 he did an internship in Aurora Organic Dairy, Colorado where he worked in the area of lameness prevention and treatment. In 2020 he obtained his Master degree in Veterinary Sciences at University of Florida, his program was focused in reproductive physiology and estrous management in dairy heifers. He started his DVSc program in the Population Medicine Department in January 2021.
