Research Interests

Indigenous community health and wellbeing of communities located near, or impacted by, natural resource developments (mining, hydroelectric and oil and gas developments). In particular, I am researching the impacts on community health and wellbeing in Nunatsiavut communities in relation to the Voisey’s Bay mine site. This research is focused on past and current impacts, along with predicting impacts to communities when the mine closes in 2035.
