Lee Virginia Wisener



Lee completed her MSc. in veterinary epidemiology in 2016. Before starting her PhD program in 2016 she applied her epidemiology knowledge and skills in a number of projects for the federal government and other researchers. She has been involved in knowledge synthesis research since 2016. Lee has been a practicing small animal veterinarian througout her research career. 

Research Interests

Lee's PhD research utilizes knowledge synthesis methods to contribute to antibiotic stewardship for the beef and swine industry. Lee has completed two scoping reviews of non-antibiotic approaches to raising healthy pigs and beef animals which broadly describe these bodies of literature, identify specific topics areas for systematic reviews and identify knowledge gaps.
