Profile

Kristen received her DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2014 and has worked as a dairy veterinarian in private practice ever since. In addition to her veterinary duties, Kristen is now also pursuing a Master's degree under the supervision of Dr. David Renaud. Her research is focused on how preweaning health and management factors in dairy heifers influence future production and survivability, as well as investigating ways to mitigate the weaning slump.
