Juliet is an MSc student studying epidemiology in the Department of Population Medicine under the supervision of Drs. Kelsey Spence and Terri O'Sullivan. Juliet graduated with an HBSc in 2020 from the University of Toronto where she specialized in Biological Anthropology and minored in Biology. 

 

Research Interests

Juliet's current research topic involves using both qualitative and quantitative methods of determining how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted horse owners’ perception and implementation of biosecurity. This research will be used to improve equine management practices and improve how biosecurity is communicated to horse owners. Juliet’s research interests include disease surveillance, infection prevention, animal health, and health communication.
