BSc Honors Specialization in Biology
In 2018, I received a Bachelor of Science degree with an Honors Specialization in Biology from the University of Western Ontario. After completing my undergraduate degree, I decided to pursue further studies in animal research. Currently, I am in the second and final year of my Master's degree in Epidemiology. Since completing my undergraduate degree in London, Ontario, I am new to Guelph but I have loved my experience thus far!
My research is focused on understanding the perspectives of dairy producers towards the use of pain control when disbudding and dehorning calves. Through this research, I hope to identify the barriers that prevent producers from utilizing pain management for disbudding, as well as the motivating factors that influence the adoption of this practice. My research project involves dairy producers throughout Ontario, Canada, and Wisconsin, USA.
