Profile

I finished my Master’s of Public Health with a specialty in infectious diseases from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2017. I did my graduate research at the Network Dynamics Science and Simulation Laboratory. At the NDSSL, I honed my skills in epidemiology, modeling, and python programming. My research focused on creating a computational SEIR/SEI model of the Zika virus.

After finishing my MPH, I took a break from academia to work abroad. I taught English for four years with the Japanese Exchange Teaching program in Okinawa, Japan.

Now, at Guelph University, I am working at the Dairy at Guelph Lab under the guidance of Dr. Renaud and Dr. Winder.
