Inthuja completed her Honours Bachelors of Science from the Life Sciences program at the University of Toronto and is completing her Masters in Population Medicine under the supervision of Dr. Berke at the University of Guelph.

Research Interests

Inthuja's primary research focuses on the reporting of disease maps in the public health literature. Her diverse areas of research interests include:

  • spatial epidemiology
  • prevention and control of infectious diseases
  • antimicrobial resistance
  • knowledge synthesis and translation
  • data science, open science, and science pedgagogy
  • health geography
  • social determinants of health
  • maternal and child health
  • healthy urban planning
