Profile

Gillian graduated from her BSc. Honours in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph in April 2021. She initiated her interest in the department of Population Medicine in her 4th year in a research course, in which she worked with Dr. Charlotte Winder. She is a MSc. student with Dr. Winder studying Epidemiology. Her research is focusing on the barriers of implementing biosecurity practices in Canadian dairy herds. Additionally, she is focusing on Knowledge Translation and Transfer (KTT) with bovine veterinarians to improve biosecurity implementation.
