Gabrielle Turcotte

Gabrielle Turcotte is a PhD Student in Epidemiology. After completing her undergraduate degree in Mathematics and her master’s degree in Economics at Ryerson University, she decided to pursue a new field of study to combine her acquired knowledge of mathematical modelling and her long-time passion for horses. Equine research in epidemiology, specifically equine biosecurity, at the University of Guelph was the solution. Her research will be performed as a member of the Mathematical Epidemiology Lab under the supervision of Dr. Terri O’Sullivan and Dr. Amy Greer.
