Educational Background

I obtained my Honours Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Guelph in 2018. In my final year of my undergraduate, I completed a research project with Dr. Rod A. Merrill working with Garvin, a novel mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase (mART) toxin from Lactococcus garvieae.

Public Health Area of Interest

  • Infectious disease epidemiology
  • Zoonosis
  • Reproductive, maternal, and newborn health

Favourite Aspect of the Program to Date

My favourite aspect of the program to date has been the Health Promotion (POPM*6510) course taught by Dr. Jennifer McWhirter. Throughout the semester, I worked alongside my peers to develop a health promotion campaign to enhance COVID-19 vaccination uptake across the University of Guelph campus.
