I am a first year Master of Public Health candidate in the Department of Population Medicince. 

I have experience working as a clinican. I also volunteer for my local public health unit, promoting baby friendly practices and providing counseling to new and expectant mothers.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading books, cooking and watching Netflix.

Educational Background

I have a Bachelors in Dental Surgery from Lahore Medical & Dental College in Pakistan, where I also practised as a dentist.

Public Health Area of Interest

My intrests lie in Health Promotion and Health Communication .

I have leveraged my multicultural backround into helping new immigrants in Canada while volunteering .

Thus I am also interested in global health and health equity, reaching out to vulnerable populations; women and children.
