Educational Background

I am currently a second year graduate student in the Master of Public Health program at the University of Guelph. I've completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from UOIT and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from Ryerson University.

Public Health Area of Interest

My courses of study have allowed me to develop my knowledge of the public health field and have deepened my interest in principles of epidemiology and infectious diseases under the One Health approach.

Practicum Project

I have contributed to several projects for the Canadian Integrated Program for Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance including literature reviews to identify factors that may influence antimicrobial resistance in the food chain and data analysis of multiple surveillance datasets. These projects specifically look at different combinations of pathogens, food commodities and antibiotic drugs.
