  • ID Card Authorization Form OVC is becoming 'proximity card accessible'. An iClass ID card will be required for access to OVC outside of business hours effective August 2, 2016. Your  University of GuelphID card must be equipped with iClass technology.  The completed form will be required when you apply in person. Details on the form must be verified in Human Resources, UC Level 5 and then taken in person to the ID Card Centre, Enrolment Services, Office of Registrarial Services, UC Level 3. Your new card will be made while you are there.
  • LMIA Exempt Process Employers are now required to submit offers of employment in LMIA exempt situations using this new portal. This must be completed prior to the postdoc applying for a work permit. 
  • TA & Invigilation Positions in the Clinical Studies Invigilator Pool OVC TA Positions for Invigilating Midterms and Exams during the F16 and W17 semesters are now posted. Graduate students interested in invigilating during these semesters MUST APPLY THROUGH THE FOLLOWING LINK. Application for Invigilation Positions F16 & W17 Graduate students wishing to invigilate in other departments must apply through the links for the other departments as well.

PHYSICAL RESOURCES & HSC CONSTRUCTION UPDATES

 

  • 2017 Annual Campus-Wide Electrical Shutdown - Please be advised that Physical Resources will be conducting its Annual Campus Electrical Shutdown over two days this year; Saturday & Sunday, April 29 & 30, 2017 daily from 7:00am until approx. 7:00pm. Carefully read the attached shutdown notices listing the buildings affected each day.  Essential/emergency power and lighting, as provided by the campus essential power system, will not be affected.  Chilled water may be limited during this time, therefore critical systems with cold water back-up capability will be switched over.  Heating, ventilation, air conditioning and hot water will not be available.   In addition, building elevators will be locked out of service. No other maintenance or construction activity will be permitted on campus during this shutdown. Access to all campus buildings should be restricted, other than for security reasons. Thank you for your support.
